Today was "tourist" day in Nashville, highlighted by lunch at Rotier's. Featured on the Food Network's show "Burger Land," the restaurant began in 1945 and not much has changed in the intervening 70 years. Their clientele has included Jimmy Buffett and Keith Urban. I had their signature cheeseburger served on a French roll.
Other stops for the day included Nashville's Parthenon and Andrew Jackson's Hermitage where I successfully managed to stay a few steps ahead of about 400 fourth graders on a field trip.
Well I hate that your travel plans have you stuck but, there are worst places to be than Nashville. And since you are semi mobile you can go to Chattanooga, Memphis, and back to Pigeon Forge! (well maybe not back there) Good luck in your travels and at some point we need to talk.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Murl. You’re absolutely correct, this Is a great place to be stuck. As for side trips, The only direction that we are going to be leaving this place, is West. Hopefully, it will be early next week. I’ll keep you guys updated.
